



We will be traveling to Washington DC with the Asp’s April 9-16th and are staying at the a Hilton in The District. \240We have arranged for both a Capitol and White House tour as well as tickets for the Air and Space Museum, the National Zoo to see the pandas and several tours of monuments.
We plan to enjoy dinner at the Washington City Club one evening. \240Our accommodations are very near everything we plan to visit.
We continue to plan our DC trip and afterward we will swing by Ohio to visit Jeff’s mother and family.
We now have rese4vation for a White House tour, a Capitol Tour scheduled through our congressman’s office. \240I have also booked us for a day at the Air and Space Museum, a tour of the Washington Monument and a night time tour or the Washington monuments.
Next week I can book our tickets to see the giant pandas at the National Zoo and a dinner at the City Club of D.C. \240 We also plan to spend a day at the American History Museum. \240 The cheery blossoms should be in bloom and the mall will be beautiful.
Salette, our cat sitter will be taking care of the kids for the nearly 2 weeks we are gone. \240 After our 7 days in D.C. we are going to Ohio for 5 days to celebrate Jeff’s mothers 90th birthday.
Today I reviewed all our confirmed reservations for the trip at the Capital, White House and the Air, Space Museum as well as Viators of the a Washington Mnument as well as a night driving tour of the monuments. \240I was also able to book a tour of the Bureau of Printing and \240Engraving
I still need to book dinner at the D.C. Business club and our time slots for the National Zoo to see the giant pandas. \240We also plan a day at the National Museum of American History. \240 We ware going to be very busy.
Jeff and I have set aside a day to visit with my family consisting of aunt, uncle, nieces and cousins. \240I also have a great nephew, Henry we haven’t met yet.
The cats will be cared for by our neighborhood cat sitter. \240 She is great and the kids love her

Jeff completed a calendar with all our scheduled events today. \240 It will be helpful to have everything in one place as there are a lot of moving pieces.
Our trip to the National Zoo is planned for Friday, April 11 th. \240The zoo site indicates only about 2-3 hours are needed for the zoo. \240The pandas both giant pandasandcred pandas \240are the most interesting and require a timed entry ticket. \240 Here is a map of the zoo
Today I was looking at additional museums in D.C. and we want to tour the National Museum of American History. \240There are a number of interesting exhibits, \240but of particular interest to me is the display of 100 years of First Ladies. \240 Here is a map of the museum
Today I was able to secure our National Zoo tickets for Friday, April 11th. \240 There is not timed entry but there is a que to see the pandas.
