So this boy runs up to me and asks if he can pet my dog! I said, “yes, thank you for asking.” He asked if my dog was a Siberian Husky. He then showed me his mom in the background and said so was his new puppy! His puppy was 7 months old. I said, “well my dog is 7 years old.” He then replied, “I’m 7 years old!” I said to my dog, “Did you hear that Odin? He’s 7 just like you!” The boy said, “What? Wait? Are you talking to me?” I said, “No, to Odin. My dog’s name is Odin.” He shouted back to his mom, “Mom! Guess what this dog’s name is Odin too!” At this moment I assumed they had named their puppy Odin as well, but no! The boy was beaming and hugged Odin tight around the neck while his mom laughed and told me, “My son’s name is Odin!” What are the odds of meeting two 7 year old Odin’s at the same place? I had to take a picture!

Odin loves to swim
Odin had a bunch of curious seals watching him swim
If you look in the back of the rock there is my first whale spout!
It’s a humpback whale and not very big
There were many whales that just hung around the rocks. I think they were rubbing themselves on the rocks
You can see the spout right in the beginning on the left
This was the best video yet. The camera does not do it justice as it appears further away then it really is. I would guess it was truly 500 feet from me.
This is around the horn of the light house.
This is what is left of the abandoned rock quarry that was erected in 1930 and bought out by the federal parks in 1970
